When it comes to guidebooks and valuations, there are 3 considerations: what, where & how.
- What is it? The year/Make/Model/Trim Level and is it something someone will desire?
- Where is it? Geographic location and time of the year. A convertible sports car in Detroit in January is not an easy sale.
- How is it? Vehicle Condition, Vehicle History, Maintenance Records. A vehicle that is garage-kept will be worth 15-20% more than a similar used car that is exposed to the elements full time.
