Each month we bring you the most up to date vehicle recalls and since early November 1, 2024, several major automakers have issued recalls on popular vehicles to address a variety of safety and operational issues.
Ford recently recalled more than 6,200 of its 2024 Mustang models due to a problem with instrument panels that may fail to light up, depriving drivers of critical information like speed and warning lights. Additionally, Ford recalled about 30,000 of its 2023-2024 F-250, F-350, and F-450 trucks because water intrusion can affect the rearview camera, which may cause the camera image to disappear or display inaccurately.
Mazda also announced a recall for approximately 150,000 of its 2024-2025 CX-70 and CX-90 SUVs. The issue centers around software malfunctions that interfere with key features such as defrosters and seat belt warning systems. The faulty software may also trigger a series of warning messages in the instrument cluster, which can distract drivers when starting the vehicle.
Ram trucks are affected by recalls as well. Nearly 34,000 of the 2025 Ram 1500 models face a recall due to potential failures in the electronic stability control system, a critical component for safe handling. Another 32,000 Ram 1500 Classic trucks were recalled because the glass in the driver’s side trailer tow mirror may detach, obstructing driver visibility.
In another recall, Nissan addressed an issue with its 2024 Frontier trucks, recalling over 1,100 units due to missing headlight aim markings, which could lead to incorrect headlight adjustments and reduced nighttime visibility. Chevrolet also issued a recall for about 850 of its 2025 Blazer and Equinox models due to improperly treated door strikers, which can cause doors to open unexpectedly.
Owners of these models are encouraged to contact their dealerships promptly for free repairs.
